ABOUT THE LAKE
Lake Conroe recently celebrated its 43nd anniversary from its creation in 1973. Which over 175 miles of shoreline,the lake boasts over 22,000 acres of recreation spanning 26 miles long and 6 miles wide.
Various areas of the lake exceed 50 feet in water depth. The shoreline is 95% developer – only a few waterfront tracts of land remain. Recreational amenities include ten marinas, boating, skiing, sailing, fishing, swimming, camping in the National Forest (on the north end of the lake), or just relax and enjoy spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Lake Conroe is located one hour north of Houston, the 4th largest city in the United States of America.
